A Cashier will be responsible for accurately listening and inputting the guests' orders into the Point of Sales (POS) system. They will be responsible for processing cash, debit and credit transactions in the POS system. They must have a full understanding of each menu item including food and beverage and the method of preparation of each item. At the conclusion of each order, the Cashier must provide an order number and accurately document this onto the ticket, along with labeling the order as “To Stay or To Go”. Each Cashier will be cross trained as a Barista, Bakery/ Expo, and Support Positions. A Cashier’s duties also include greeting customers, processing customer orders (in person and over the phone), accepting cash and returning the correct change, provide accurate answers and suggestions to all menu items and maintaining cleanliness in the café. This position requires the most guest interaction. A Cashier should be hospitality driven, polite to each guest, and able to maintain a calm demeanor during busy times. They will be responsible for constantly communicating with their team members about keeping track of when items are sold out. They must maintain an accurate list of items that are no longer available throughout the day. A Cashier is responsible for setting up the Bakery Display and properly labeling each item. They are also responsible for supporting the Barista and Bakery/ Expo if assistance is needed. A Cashier will be cross trained as Barista, Bakery/ Expo, Support, and Express positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.20 - $22.46 per hour
